Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and resources to identify and address problem assets affecting the cost to manufacture through organized problem-solving activities
- Manage the plant Utilities/ Maintenance/Reliability Metrics and develop plans to improve the organization and area Key Performance indicators
- Driving an HSE Goal Zero culture
- Management and enforcement of HSEQ compliance for all areas
- Championing incident reporting, timely inquiries and the cascade of shared learning
- Managerial responsibility for the site’s maintenance team
- Ownership at a site level of the competence of the maintenance staff, including defining the standard and managing the process of achieving and maintaining it
- Taking overall accountability for the site’s engineering revenue and maintanance budget
- Setting, negotiating and defining budgets that lead to the successful delivery of the assets’ engineering strategies
- Driving the process that identifies areas for improvement which help the manufacturing area to be more effective, efficient and reliable, utilising available data on site and the latest industry wide technologies and best practices
- Will be successful in change management centered on lean manufacturing focused on asset reliability (Standardized Work, 5S, Strategy Development)
- Leading indirectly all technical teams,

Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to actively, and cooperatively work with cross functional teams
- A pro-active, positive professional attitude who leads by example
- Knowledge of Process Safety Management Techniques (Management of Change, HAZOP, PHA, hazardous area classification)
- Minimum of 15 years of successful hands-on engineering/maintenance management experience in an industrial environment
- Communication Proficiency – ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels of the business
