*Position: HVAC Inspector for Oil & Gas Projects*
*Location:* Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
*Job Type:* Full-time
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. Conduct inspections of HVAC systems and components, including heating units, cooling towers, ventilation fans, ductwork, and control panels, to verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable codes and standards.
2. Perform visual inspections, functional tests, and measurements of HVAC equipment and installations to assess their condition, performance, and energy efficiency.
3. Review and interpret HVAC drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness of HVAC installations according to project requirements.
4. Inspect HVAC equipment installation, commissioning, and startup activities to ensure adherence to design specifications, manufacturer’s recommendations, and industry best practices.
5. Monitor and evaluate HVAC system performance parameters, such as airflow, temperature differentials, humidity levels, and energy consumption, to identify deviations and potential issues.
6. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address technical issues, resolve discrepancies, and implement corrective actions related to HVAC installations.
7. Conduct inspections of HVAC insulation, piping, and ductwork to verify proper installation, insulation thickness, and vapor barrier integrity, in accordance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
8. Document inspection findings, observations, and non-conformities in detailed reports, and communicate them effectively to relevant stakeholders, including project management and client representatives.
9. Ensure that all HVAC works are carried out in accordance with project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols, minimizing delays and disruptions.
10. Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies related to HVAC systems, energy conservation, and indoor air quality.
*Qualifications and Experience:*
– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
– Minimum 5-10 years of experience as an HVAC Inspector, preferably in oil and gas projects.
– Certification or training in HVAC inspection techniques and standards is preferred.
– Sound knowledge of HVAC engineering principles, HVAC codes and standards, and industry best practices.
– Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, and NFPA.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
– Proficiency in interpreting HVAC drawings, schematics, and specifications.
