Oceaneering hiring Level 2 NDT technician at Qatar
Purpose
Perform all activities necessary for AUT girth weld inspection.
Functions
- Follow up directives given by the AUT Operator/ Supervisor.
- Adjustments to ultrasonic scanner head as instructed by AUT Operators to ensure recognized standards are met
- Have clear communication with the AUT operator during inspection
- Mark defect repair areas at the discretion of the AUT operator
- Maintain the NDT equipment and report the breakdown of part/s items to the supervisor
- Assist in making AUT set-ups for qualification and validation activities
- Update the AUT operator on the status of the preparations, execution, problems foreseen or encountered, and improvements for current or upcoming projects.

PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT – UT – Level 2 – Ultrasonic Testing (E)
PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT – MT – Level 2 – Magnetic Particle Testing (P)
PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT – PT – Level 2 – Dye/ Liquid Penetrant Testing (P)
Third Party ASNT certificate holders will be required to undergo Oceaneering Certification, and successful completion is a mandatory requirement to acquire this position.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have complete knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.
Education and/or Experience
Min 5 years solid experience in Pipeline Inspection in Oil and Gas Industry
