Expro Group are currently recruiting for a QHSE Manager to join the QHSE team based in Kuala Belait.
Overall Purpose of the Job
- To support the Country Manager to effectively plan and manage country Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality management systems.
- To function as Management Representative for Asia Integrated Management System (AIMS) implementation at country level.
- To monitor and report on all aspects of QHSE matters to country management and regional QHSE team.
- Assist with development of procedures for management systems for Region (AIMS).
- Guide and support all functions and product lines to ensure that procedures and policies are being followed, implemented and are appropriate to meet and exceed legal requirements.
- Manage, Plan and carry out both internal and critical supplier audits.
- Present a high safety profile in the office, workshops and customer office by conducting audits, regular tours, inspections, spot checks of base facilities and communicating HSE matters with all members of staff.
- Creation and provision of training for personnel in health, safety and environmental related topics, manage QHSE competency within the country.
- Collation, recording and effective communication of HSE data and monthly reporting.
- Represent company at QHSE forums.
- Prepare project safety plan for smooth execution of Contract.
- Conduct Country QHSE performance review on periodic basis.
- Ensure QHSE-related legal compliance at all Expro Locations in country.
- To participate in Customer QHSE meetings and create relationships with Customer QHSE representatives.
- Plan and organised QHSE promotional programme at all locations to encourage employees on QHSE matter.
- Directly manage and lead a Country QHSE team of up to 12 employees in functions such as QAQC, HSE, and Wellsite Safety Officers.
Job Knowledge and Qualifications
- Industry background.
- Conversant with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and legislation.
- Health, Safety and Environmental Lead Auditor training.
- Safety Management and incident investigation training.
- Computer Literate.
- Good communication skills – internal and external.
- Good team player with sound interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of HSE Management systems, policies and processes.
- Registered Safety Officer with DISH.
- ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 & EMS 14001 working experience.
- Preferably IRCA Registered management system auditor for either ISO 9001 or OHSAS 18001.
- Preferably Taproot Investigation familiarization to conduct HSE & service quality incident investigation.
