Lead Inspection Engineer
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement quality control processes for procurement activities within the Oil & Gas industry
- Conduct inspections of vendor facilities to evaluate compliance with quality requirements and standards
- Review procurement documentation, including specifications and drawings, to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify quality improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct audits to assess compliance with quality standards
- Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers, addressing any quality issues and ensuring timely resolution
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement inspection, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry
- In-depth knowledge of quality control processes and procedures within the Oil & Gas industry
- Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations
- Experience in conducting inspections and audits of vendor facilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools
- Professional certifications such as API Q1, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or equivalent are preferred
