We are conducting walk-in interviews for the position of Repair Engineer on Saturday, 28th September 2024 in Bangalore. Candidates will be shortlisted prior to the event, and only those selected will receive an official invitation with the venue details.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the in-service operations and maintenance of large, medium, and small gas turbine aero engines.
  • Provide solutions for engine component salvage during in-service operations and overhauls.
  • Work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Typical Activities Include:

  • Creation and revision of technical publications such as Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Engine Shop Manuals (ESM), Service Bulletins (SB), and other manuals.
  • Investigation of failures and non-conformances in operations and maintenance, offering repair and salvage solutions.
  • Technical report writing, data analysis, and computation.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of gas turbine aero engines and engine components.
  • Expertise in identifying damage and applying appropriate salvage methods.
  • Proficiency in reading part drawings and understanding GD&T concepts.
  • Knowledge of various manufacturing, inspection, and repair processes.
  • Familiarity with engine assembly/disassembly, build shop procedures, and LRU assembly.
  • Solid grasp of stress, design, material, and life analysis.
  • Strong technical writing skills and ability to interpret engineering data.
  • Experience with delivery excellence and quality control systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering with a strong academic record.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Aviation Engines, Turbomachinery, Aircraft Product Support, or related repair/design activities.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Note: Shortlisted candidates must be available for an in-person interview and subsequent position at the Bangalore office.
