ABB hiring HSE Manager for Machine Manufacturing Unit

Your responsibilities

Maintains leadership and HSE expertise and supports country management teams across the country and business areas,
Ensures that the area of responsibility is appropriately organized, staffed, skilled and directed,
Guides, motivates and develops business teams according to HR policies to build a strong foundation for the implementation of ABB Group policies, standards, programs and practices,
Facilitates HSE risk assessment by line management of shop floor employees, ie, those directly affected by hazards, and ensures all processes are implemented,
Reports HSE incidents, lead incident investigations and archiving incident records,
Reports on HSE performance and progress on the implementation of ABB Group sustainability objectives and KPIs (key performance indicators) for the ABB Group, as required,
Drives and ensures compliance with Group management systems, and Legal Requirements. Leads and audit the archiving of HSE related records and documents in accordance with legal requirements,
Ensures the area of responsibility is audited,
Embeds an exemplary health and safety culture, as well as a strong focus on the environment, throughout the respective organization,
Engages external stakeholders (eg, customers, suppliers) and internal stakeholders to report on, raise awareness of, gain commitment to and obtain objective feedback on ABB’s HSE efforts and performance,
Cooperates with other functions and business partners to drive performance.

Your background

Bachelor’s degree in engineering departments,
Min 10 years of experience in OHS,
Preferably A Level OHS certification, (B Level OHS certification can also be considered),
Solid experience for implementing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 in operational environment and being lead auditor for these management systems,
Advanced level of English skills,
Turkish knowledge is a must,
Detailed, self-disciplined and solution-oriented profile with strong process management skills,
Strong interpersonal skills,
No obstacle for traveling.
