**Job Opportunity: Head of Contracts for Onshore Project**

**About the Role:**
We are seeking a highly experienced Contracts Manager to lead the contracts management function for the Onshore Project, specifically overseeing Contracts Plans for Trains 14 and 15. This role involves developing, communicating, and implementing contract management processes, providing technical, commercial, and functional leadership in all contracting activities. Responsibilities include the formulation and administration of ITT (Invitation to Tender) packages, as well as providing guidance to contract and claims personnel in collaboration with the Project Management Team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Lead the Project Management Team’s contracting efforts, including issuing ITTs, contract execution, and coordinating with Legal and other Major Project Groups.
– Prepare and manage ITT packages, tender processes, and full contract scope definitions in partnership with Supply, Integration, and Legal teams.
– Evaluate technical bids and make recommendations on contract terms to stakeholders.
– Administer contracts by documenting progress, managing claims, monitoring guarantees, processing contract modifications, and closing out contracts.
– Review and negotiate project change requests from contractors.
– Serve as the primary contact for resolving contractual issues with contractors.
– Maintain close coordination with senior project personnel and functional managers to ensure successful project execution.
– Implement and oversee contract management procedures to improve project performance, mitigate risks, and achieve positive outcomes.
**Candidate Profile:**
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
– A minimum of 12 years’ experience in large-scale oil and gas projects, with expertise in business and risk management, project controls, contract management, and exposure to cost and schedule development.
– At least 3 years of supervisory experience, leading multidisciplinary and multicultural teams on mega-projects.
– Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
– Strong organizational, planning, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
– Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

– **Compensation:** Competitive day rate in USD plus allowances.
– **Work Schedule:** 10 hours per day, 6 days a week.
– **Contract Duration:** Until 30 September 2027, with potential for extension.
– **Location:** Initial mobilization in Nanterre, Paris, France, followed by relocation to Qatar.
