Integrity Engineer

As an Integrity Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Performing Integrity assessments based on corrosion, fracture mechanics and other mechanical engineering principles per Baker Hughes work instructions
Preparing high quality written technical reports and, where necessary present to clients face-to-face (including occasional international travel) or virtually
Performing Quality Assurance of data assessments and written reports per Baker Hughes work instructions
Delivering assigned tasks to the required quality on time
Monitoring task progress and to report this into the production management rhythms and to maintain planning system entries
Undertaking and where applicable deliver, relevant training
Assisting in the review and development of bespoke integrity offerings
Working with customers, to identify needs, refine/develop scopes of work, solicit input data and communicate results
Maintaining familiarity with standards relevant to the assessment of pipeline integrity and their application to Baker Hughes inspection data
Identifying quality or productivity issues and potential solutions
Supporting the development of analysis process and tools

To be successful in this role, you will:

Have any technical degree plus five years’ experience of delivering integrity assessments for pipeline systems, or qualification specific to pipeline integrity engineering plus two years’ experience.
Have a demonstrated ability to engage with technical authorities and customers with wide ranges of technical experience
Be detailed, analytical, process orientated approach with ability to drive issues to a robust closure in a timely manner within a global team
Have excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills
