Sr Reservoir Engineer

Primary purpose of job
Directs and participates in reservoir management and well surveillance activities which are properly designed to meet the production and reservoir targets/objectives and to optimise the performance of an oilfield
To follow up and assure with the team members, other sections and departments that the ongoing reservoir management and surveillance activities are done as per reservoir management plan and department requirements
Contribute to the periodic production planning and reservoir surveillance planning
Design and follow up of the execution of welltest programmes
Perform analysis and interpretation of RFT/MDT data
Evaluate well and reservoir performance and recommend production improvement opportunities
Experience & Skills
15+ years’ experience of practicing reservoir engineering in reservoir management, field operations and monitoring
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to perform as an effective team member in a multidisciplinary team
Ability to guide and help more junior members of the reservoir engineers in the team
Education
BSc or MSc in Petroleum Engineering or any related fields
