We are currently seeking Senior Piping Engineers to join our team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
About The Job
As a Senior Piping Engineer, you will be assigned to a project task force team working primarily on FEED, Design and Detail Engineering activities/projects. Your main responsibilities includes but not limited to;
- Technical management of the piping personnel under his responsibilities.
- Provide guidance to all team members with proper work distribution.
- Coordination activities with specialists engineers like stress and material leads.
- Ensure implementation of project specifications, procedures, design requirements etc.
- Coordination with other disciplines.
- Participate in meetings and assist in technical matters with clients / vendors and contractors.
- Participation during key project reviews, plot plan reviews, Hazop, lesson learned workshops, constructability review and Design/model review meetings.
- Organize periodic internal 3D model reviews and assign job responsibilities to designers during this period.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Extensive expertise in piping Design/Engineering
- At least 15 years’ experience in Major oil/gas offshore and onshore projects in the capacity of Lead or Area Lead Engineer
- Should have extensive knowledge and experience in developing Plot Plans, piping layouts, pipe routing study etc. of Oil and Gas, offshore and onshore projects
- Should have experience in handing process units in 3D environment using E3D, SP3D tools.
