for one of the leading Automobile OEMs Mahindra & Mahindra in India.

Job Profile –
· Ø Planning, coordinating tool room activity like scheduling jobs to tool makers & ensuring timely completion as per pre-set parameters.
Ø Ascertaining requirements of material for development in Die Maintenance; managing Tool tryouts, maintenance & modifications.
Ø Dealing with overseas and local vendor for tool buyoff and tool trials.
Ø Facilitation of Training and skill development for Die maintenance team.
Ø Attend daily pre-shift meetings with subordinates and share the management plan and improvement plans to down the line.
Ø Planning and implementations of effective preventive maintenance programs for all
Stamping dies. (Draw, Trim, Restrike and blanking)
Ø Follow and support manufacturing’s, including: operating under its principles by treating all subordinates equally, fairly and with dignity and respect without favoritism.
Ø Ensure all documentation is maintained as per ISO 9001-2015 requirement.
Ø Planning for skill development of new team members in Die Maintenance.
Ø Hands on experience in Manufacturing & Maintenance of press tools.
Includes die repair, modification activity)
Ø Implementation of ECN in production dies.
Ø Area In charge of all press tool related activities in die maintenance.
Ø Work along with ME/PE engineers during die design inspection phase for process related inputs.
Monitoring and managing product quality (Press parts, BIW and assembly body) · Analysis of data to solve Vehicle Quality issues of SQR, DQR and GCA, related to press shop and weld shop through accuracy report, CMM report and ATOS scanning report · Drive Body accuracy and Welding Fixture adjustment to meet gap and flush as per vehicle drawing by using press parts, sub assembly drawing and matching with vehicle body condition · Ensuring sheet metal parts quality as per technical requirement and driving for improvement related with tooling (Checking fixture, Jig, dies) for quality improvement · Analysis of gap and flush (Body accuracy) of all closures · Project management, monitoring, reviewing timelines and communication with cross functional department.
